My research is based at the intersection of the natural sciences and computer science, specifically, biology, chemistry, and machine learning. The overall goal is to develop sustainable methods that support and extend lab and field scientists. Based on my multidisciplinary background and broad research interests, I have a wide range of lines of investigation, which are discussed below.
